The YBG Artists Residency is located in Accra, Ghana. The art scene in Accra is booming and the artist residency program is open to 4 artists per season interested in exploring their work in the pulse of West Africa. This residency aims to be a part of the contemporary African art story that understands art as more than mere utility and claims it as the voice of the African Renaissance.

The residency pairs visiting artists with veteran Ghanian artists, and peer graduates from the
KNUSTS art program. Residents live in the 4 bedroom section of a stunning property that is the direct neighbor of the President of Ghana. The entrance and open atrium serve as an art gallery and event space. Residents are actively involved in hanging shows, engaging buyers, curators, and traveling through Ghana exploring art galleries and places of interest.
